For God knows what reason, they waited until cds were about to become obsolete before issuing proper cds of some of the greatest recordings ever made. Oh well, better late than never. We'll play a bunch of Sly in a week or two, but for now, stiff the doctor, the grocer and even the cable company and buy (at least) There's a Riot Goin' On, Fresh and Small Talk. It gets no better.

Well, the Baby's been as irregular as gut full of tough, rancid meat and for that I apologize but it was for a good cause: a Caribbean cruise. All I say is that people eat far more bacon than you'd ever think possible -- rasher after rasher, ad infinitum, and then chase it down with an equally shocking number of fruity alcoholic concoctions. Oh, and fuck David Johansen for writing that "Hot Hot Hot" song. It catapults him to the upper (or is that lower) ranks of the "oh how far they've fallen" sweepstakes, in the sorry company of the likes of Aerosmith, Seger and Rod Stewart.

Anyway, there was no show on April 6, but on March 30, listeners were treated to this rich sampling of the art of the kick-arse . Enjoy it starting this evening, April 8, 2007, at www.waveformbaby.org.
